Energy

The need to reduce CO2 emissions is absolutely at the top of the climate change agenda. Energy is a key part of this problem, and therefore the solution. Currently, the vast majority (97%) of the production of our electrical energy produces significant quantities of C02 - approximately 25% of the UK’s overall CO2 emissions.

The UK is uniquely placed to exploit sustainable, renewable energy, particularly from wind and from water (rivers and tides). Yet despite this, there are currently no wind turbines in Dorset.

PA21 are actively encouraging Poole to reduce it’s C02 emissions by using renewable energy wherever possible.

If you are interested in installing a wind turbine, or any other form of renewable energy, we’d like to hear from you.
