PA21 are on the Poole Fairtrade Committee, which aims to make Poole a Fair Trade town. This is a complex process which requires a certain number of different types of enterprises to stock and sell a certain number of different types of fair trade products.

PA21 would like to see an end of exploitation across the globe, and a fair deal to the producers in terms of remuneration and working conditions. For example, did you know that slavery still happens in the cocoa/chocolate industry?

PA21 also support local fair trade – farmers markets.
